Not only are we fully licensed, insured, and bonded, but we also have certifications through ‘Pet Sitters International’, Catch Dog Training Academy. We take servicing our clients seriously and continue to add new certifications as they become available.
Play Group offers the dog the chance to expel energy as well as socialize with other dogs in a safe environment. Dogs are social creatures and even if they aren’t running around playing for the entire duration of play, they still benefit from socializing and being around other dogs.

Puppies especially benefit from learning social cues and behavior from the other dogs, who are constantly teaching each other. For humans, a huge benefit is for you to come home to a tired pup, both physically and mentally.

Yes, the yard is completely fenced in with a perimeter fence. the dogs are never left outside unsupervised. There are 11 interior sectioned sections all designed for different activities, enrichment and play styles. This also allows us to create smaller group sizes for safety. The only time the dog is required to be leashed is when leaving/returning home to/from the car.
Each day varies. Many dogs have set schedules and can be expected to attend certain days each week, while others may add on. Based upon the variety of sizes, we only take a certain number of dogs each day and can reach capacity in the car. Generally, the range is between 40-50.

Yes, Hudson Hounds welcomes all breeds and sizes of dogs. Each dog must pass the necessary trials and we do our best to communicate what we feel would be the best fit for the dog based on their size, comfort level, and socializing patterns.

Since our dogs interact in an all-day play environment, it’s important for them to get along well with others. We require that your pup first complete the trial process so we can see how they interact with other dogs and people.

To maintain our incredibly high safety standards and satisfaction ratings, we require your pup to be:

  • At least four months old

  • Current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines*
